LHTP Neighborhood Cleanup - Saturday, November 15th @ 9am - 1pm
We have an upcoming opportunity to serve the students of Lincoln Heights Tutorial Program and the Lincoln Heights community on the morning of Saturday November 15th. We are looking for 10 adult volunteers to join the students in their neighborhood cleanup to help supervise their safety throughout the afternoon. This is a great opportunity for our church to get to know the students while serving the neighborhood of Lincoln Heights!
Intro to Community - Saturday, November 15th @ 9am - 12pm
We are offering our Intro to Community class on Saturday November 15th from 9AM-12PM at the Highland Park Church. Intro to Community is a 3-hour class designed to explore and engage in meaningful reflection around a biblical framework of community, our unique witness as a countercultural presence in Los Angeles, and practices that cultivate authentic community. During this class, we will also share more about the vision, values, and rhythms of our Community Groups. This one-time class is the pathway to joining a Community Group here at Citizens. Abide
Come pray and worship with us this Friday, November 7th at 7:30pm at Faith Tabernacle Church. Abide is a prayer and worship gathering at our church where we can end our weeks together in a time of prayer and worship alongside one another. For the month of November, we will be gathering on the Westside in collaboration with our College Ministry. We will have members of our worship team leading us in an acoustic set of songs and a time of guided prayer led by various members of our staff and community.

College Ride Volunteers Needed
Our College Ministry is looking for volunteers to help bring our students to church each week! We are looking for people who are willing to pick up a group of students from one of our campuses and bring them in time for the 11:30am service. This would be a tremendous help as our ministry continues to grow and as we hope to provide a ride each week for all of our students. We hope that it can also be a way for our students to get connected to our larger church body.

Heart-to-Heart Convos for Parents of Preteens - Saturday, November 8th @ 10am
Let’s have a conversation around parenthood! The preteen years (ages 9–12) bring rapid changes in the body, brain, and social world. As identity exploration begins and peers and technology grow in influence, parenting at this stage can feel like entering unfamiliar territory. Join us as we chat about how to stay connected and confident through this season of change. Together, we’ll explore how connection, curiosity, and guidance can help your preteen—and you—thrive through the ups and downs of early adolescence. Grace Kim, LMFT, and Cat Yun, our Children and Families Director will help guide our time of learning, sharing stories, and reflecting on this extremely dynamic stage of parenting that involves big emotions. Join us for lunch afterwards along with a panel of parents from different backgrounds for a time of Q+A.
