We Are Moving in 2026!
After 6 amazing years of Spirit-filled Sunday Gatherings at the Roybal Learning Center, we are moving our place of worship to Grand Arts High School (also known as Ramon C Cortines School of Visual and Performing Arts) beginning Sunday, 1/4/2026. We are so grateful to the staff at Roybal for their hospitality all these years and look forward to our continued partnership as we're only moving 3 minutes away! More logistical details will be shared as the move date draws near. Meanwhile, please pray for Roybal, Grand Arts, our staff/volunteers, and church as we prepare for the transition.

New Year Early Morning Prayer Gathering
As a church, we want to begin the new year in prayer and worship. Join us on the first morning of 2026 as we seek God's presence together and posture ourselves to listen to His Spirit. We will be meeting from 6:00AM-7:00AM at the Highland Park church. Afterwards, we will spend some time in fellowship over breakfast. We hope you can join us!

February is Book Club Month here at Citizens! Book clubs are a fun and casual way to learn and connect with others at the church.  These groups will meet weekly throughout the month for a total of four meetings. You are free to choose a book of your choosing or you may sign up to host one of the books recommended by our staff. Our Spiritual Formation Team will get in touch with you soon after to go over next steps!

Men's Winter Retreat - Friday, Jan 23 - Sunday, Jan 25, 2026
Our Men's Ministry team is excited to announce our first-ever retreat! Our retreat will be held at Angeles Crest Christian Camp. We want to intentionally step away from our busy schedules to spend time being present with God and others. The theme is Beautiful, Disappointing, & Hopeful. It is the title of the book written by our guest speaker, Drew Hyun. We will explore the different experiences of our lives through the lens of the Gospel. Registration cost: $200.

Advent 2025 Devotional
This Sunday marks the last Sunday of Advent, a season of anticipation and preparation for Christ’s arrival. In light of this, we’ve created a simple daily Advent devotional for our whole church family to be able to pause each day, sit with Scripture, and listen for God’s voice. This devotional is divided into four movements - one for each week of Advent - that form us into people who can recognize and rejoice in the coming King: Weep. Wait. Welcome. Worship. We look forward to journeying through Advent together as a community - seeking Jesus with honesty, expectation, and hope.
